Responsible for:
================
- Supervises, evaluates and directs the procurement activities
- Sources and procures spare parts, pumps, water treatment chemicals, carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel pipes, fittings and fasteners, …etc.
- Search and contact approved vendors based on "The Approved Supplier List" to participate in bidding of project materials. Generate Vendor Request for Quotation (VQR) letter enclosed with materials specification and data sheets (if any).
- Negotiate prices and delivery dates, prepares comparison sheets and study other terms in compliance with customer requests and procurement procedures.
- Establish and maintains good working relations with suppliers while sourcing new ones.
- Coordinate with suppliers, Originators from other departments as necessary, all technical and commercial matters, e.g. Letter of Credit… etc.
- Monitors / Analysis supplier's performance with regards to the technical specs, quality, prices and delivery to update registry of Approval Suppliers List. Also, researches and recommends alternatives as necessary.
