I started my career in 1997 as a Junior geoscientist in the Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company “GUPCO” in Egypt. During my first year in GUPCO I passed through a very successful trainning program in the different expolration aspects for one year and then I joind the Northern Gulf of Suez exploration team as a junior seismic interpreter.I worked in GUPCO from 1997 to 2002. In 2002 I had been funded by bp Egypt to undertake my Masters classes in “Basin evolution and dynamics” at Royal Holloway College, University of London.I returned back to GUPCO in 2003 and worked as a geophysicist in the Southern Gulf of Suez exploration team untill 2004. In 2004 I joind bp Egypt for a one year project to map and evaluate the Norhtern Red Sea blocks. In 2005 I moved to Shell Egypt as a seismic interpter of the West Sitra Concession, Western Desert, Egypt. In 2008 I moved to NPC-PetZed as a senior geophysicist to contribute to the development of the Issaran Field, Eastern Desert, Egypt and responsible for the evalution of any bid-rounds and farm in opporutunities in Middle East and North Africa. Currently, I work with TriOcean Energy as a senior exploration geophysicist in Syria projects.

• Currently , I am a distant learner at Robert Gordon University and Aberdeen Business School doing an MBA “Oil and Gas Management” . Course duration is 3 years.
• MSc in “Basin evolution and dynamics” in September 2003 from Royal Holloway, University of London. The thesis title is “ The stratigraphic architecture of syn- and post-inversion sequences, Eastern Black Sea”
• Postgraduate Diploma in “Seismic methods” in Septmeber 2000 from Cairo University.
• BSc in “Geology and Geophysics” in May 1997 from Ain Shams University.
