Read and the ability to understand electrical drawings, one line’s, control, schematics, panels, and how to apply codes, in different area classifications. A good understanding of the MMS, NEC, ABS, and USCG.
Electrical Motors and industrial pump controls: overhauling 3 phase motors, starters, trips, automatic stand-by controls, Remote start stop on machineries.
Troubleshooting turbines, controls, and related panels for same.
A/C line drives, D/C motors, invertors, VFD’s, and related equipment.
Electronics Instrumentation and Control Devices: Electronics Field Transmitters, Indicators, Process Control Equipments, Monitoring, Alarm Shut-down systems, party/page systems, and control panels.
Electronics Sensors and Control Loops: Field Devices such as: Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, Controllers and their associated circuits.
Electro Hydraulics Crane and Machineries: Limits, Cut-off, Grab Controls and all Operation and Safety Control of Cranes.
