Electrical/Instrumentation Technician experienced on following Marine electrical, Electronics and Control systems: Power Generation, Distribution & Lighting, Main Switch Board, HV & LV Controls, circuit breakers, switchboard instrumentation/Automation and Safety circuits.

Read and the ability to understand electrical drawings, one line’s, control, schematics, panels, and how to apply codes, in different area classifications. A good understanding of the MMS, NEC, ABS, and USCG.

Electrical Motors and industrial pump controls: overhauling 3 phase motors, starters, trips, automatic stand-by controls, Remote start stop on machineries.

Troubleshooting turbines, controls, and related panels for same.

A/C line drives, D/C motors, invertors, VFD’s, and related equipment.

Electronics Instrumentation and Control Devices: Electronics Field Transmitters, Indicators, Process Control Equipments, Monitoring, Alarm Shut-down systems, party/page systems, and control panels.

Electronics Sensors and Control Loops: Field Devices such as: Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, Controllers and their associated circuits.


Electro Hydraulics Crane and Machineries: Limits, Cut-off, Grab Controls and all Operation and Safety Control of Cranes.

Engine Controls: Engine Control System, Control Panels, Safety & Emergency Shut-Downs, Engine Control Room Monitoring System, Central Monitoring System, Engine Telegraph and Telemetry Systems, Controls of Auxiliary Machineries associated to Main Engine.

Fire Detection and Alarm system: Smoke, Heat, Flame detectors and their Associated Circuits.

Electronics Security System: Installation and Setting to work of IR, Motions, key pads, PLC, CCTV’s, and nav-aids.



Digital and Micro Processor Based Controls, Relays, Timers, Solenoid Valves.

Trouble Shooting, repair calibrations tuning and modification of Circuits.

Repair and Calibration of following Test Electronics Instruments: Electronics Pressure Transmitters, Pressure switches, Temperature Sensors, RTD’s, Thermo Couples, Gas Detectors, Float Devices, 4-20Ma controls and devices.

USE OF TEST EQUIPMENT
Comprehensive Experience in using electronics/Electrical Test Equipment such as: AVO Meters, Digital and Analog meters, V-Meggers, Milli Amps and Volt meters, Oscilloscope, etc.
