CCRO/Production Operator

Commissioning and Decommissioning of Sub Sea Oil production wells and Water injection wells & Commissioning of Processing unit, Gas compressors, Water injection unit and Utilities.

CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR - PRESENTLY.

As a Control room operator report to Production Supervisor co-ordinate with outside operators, electrical department, instrument department, engine room, cargo section and other maintenanace departments for the smooth operation of plant. Absents of my supervisor in CCR I am authorised to take discitions for keep the plant safe conditions. Main job involves act according to the emergency Situations, operating fire and gas systems. Other main jobs maily continues monitoring and operating of subsea control systems, oil receving manifolds, gas lifting operations, pigging operations, scale squeezejobs, N2 bull heading operations, gas exporting system, controlling and operating oil, gas, injetion water, sea water, utility systems like heating medium, cooling medium, N2, air, fuel gas system, bilers, chemicals..etc through Distributed Control System ( DCS-Seimens-process suit@vision ).

Commissioning and decommissioning sub sea wells, change over for testing wells according to production requirements, frequently checking exchangers and coolers for its normal temperature and pressure, collecting oil and gas samples for laboratary checking, record all parameters and checked any abnormality if so inform to supervisors and trouble shooting the problems ..etc.

Co-ordinate with other departments staff for monitoring and operating the systems with in the safe limit for smooth operation of field. conducting pigging operations through inter locking systems (launching & receiving) in oil and gas lines, working with work permit, JTA, RISK assessment for individual works, carry out all types of lock open/close operations, isolation / deisolation, maintaining log for future reference, keep the plant area clean and tidy for safe and hyginic environment, and other plant related all jobs doing in a safe manner according with company’s policyes and procedures.

I was appointed couple of times as Temporary Production Supervisor. During that time report to Production superintendent and acting as Permit coordinator. During that time I was responsible to conduct daily department meeting and toolbox talks when ever required.

I was fully involved during commissioning of this FPSO on its starting time.

Confiend space entry & Emergency evacuation training.
Completed refresher training in the STOP program.
Actively participate in the STOP program and conduct stop tour regularly.
Promote safe working practice while working on the job.

Presently I am working with SBM in Brazil on their FPSO as Center Control Room Operator. I will be available India 13th of September 2010 for 6 weeks.
I have been working with SBM last six years since beginning of this vessel here.
