• Spearheading end-to-end project management activities entailing project planning, scoping & estimation, resource administration, freezing deadlines for completion of the project.
• Analyzing the sourcing strategies, supplier capabilities, work with the sourcing team to leverage raw material costs.
• Formulating technical documentation, describing the specifications/usage of products.
• Interfacing with designers and estimating & planning for detail engineering.
• Raising RRFQ’s, RFQ’s, ECN’s and monitoring part development.
• Responsible for part design, part checking, specification finalization and interaction with component suppliers.
• Responsible for Design, Development and Testing of Brakes System.
• Facilitating component development and evaluation in a scheduled time frame.
• Involved in projects ranging from improvement activities, model face lifts to new model design work.
• Lay-outing/Packaging of brake system related parts and awareness about brake system related vehicle homologation requirements.
• Involved in Cost reduction of brake component through VA/VE.
• Accountable for benchmarking of competitor’s model for brake system.
• Studying quality issues of brake system by visiting dealers and customers across India.
