• Coordinate set of techniques to plan and execute all steps in the global network used to acquire raw materials from vendors, transform them into finished goods, and deliver both goods and services to customers.
• Responsible to develop and implement logistics strategies and processes in support of a global business unit including customer service, distribution, inventory and order management functions
• Manage, execute and develop the logistics group and processes in a cost-effective, customer-focused manner.
• Responsible for maintaining the planning and forecasting model for our industry.
• Manage the design and development of an effective and efficient supply chain model supporting the company finished goods international sourcing initiative.
• Lead development of Lean Enterprise Flow Model.
• Understand principles to flow product smoother at lower cost, inventory and lead-time.
• Lead, direct, develop and manage direct reports responsible for working with manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and strategic business units
• Reduce enterprise constraints through the company wide lean enterprise initiative.
• Implement cross-functional "Complete & On-Time" reporting tools.
• Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements.
• Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
• Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
• Develop the business by analyzing logistics problems and produce new solutions.
• Collect bids and choose which is suitable for work requirements as well as making the necessary negotiation, planning and scheduling to get such materials on site.
