Plant Manager or Operations Manager

As a Plant Manager my objective is to ensure the optimum plant functioning and guarantee the investment return and the business profitability

1. Plant Manager (Accroven, S.R.L): August 2000 to July 2010
•Responsible for a 400 MMSCF and 19000 BBL NGL Extraction Plant.
•In charge of planning, directing and controlling strategies that ensure the optimum plant functioning.
•Ensure the compliance of laws and the contractual requirements.
•Facilitating the personnel development and motivate the team work.
Achievements as a Plant Manager (Accroven S.R.L).
•Structured the start up team, including selection, training and the creation of a team work culture, oriented to the operational result compliance.
•Coordinated the Commissioning and successful start up of the Santa Barbara Extraction Plant, fifteen days before the planned date.
•Defined strategies and follow up actions to obtain the following goals: Plant efficiency value of 98.16% (contractual goal 93%), Corrective Maintenance Index of 3.6 and Availability and Reliability over 98%.
•Coordinated the Execution of more tan 80 plant changes, mainly associated to operational improvements and process automation.
•Defined strategies and follow up actions to obtain the following HS&E results: Cero environmental incidents, more than 530.000 man hours and 1891 days without lost time accidents, and only two (02) LTA in ten years of commercial operations.
2. Site Engineer (Accroven S.R.L), May 1999 to July 2000
In charge of guarantying the construction of the Accroven Extraction Plant according to the contract specifications.
3. High Pressure Injection Supervisor (PDVSA), Dec-1996 to Dec-1997
In charge of supervising the operation of the gas injection wells (9000 PSI).
4. Operations Supervisor. (PDVSA), Jan-1994 to Nov-1996
In charge of the start up and operation of a 9000 psi gas injection plant (PICAP I).
5. Gas & Liquids Planning Engineer, (PDVSA), August 1992 to December 1993
Responsible of coordinating the gas and NGL production in the Anaco District.
6. Maintenance Planning Supervisor (Siderurgica del Orinoco, SIDOR) 1990 to 1991
In charge of supervise the maintenance planning section of a bar mill plant.
7. Mechanic Section Supervisor (Siderurgica del Orinoco, SIDOR) 1990 to 1991
In charge of supervising the mechanic section of a bar mill plant.
8. Maintenance Engineer (Siderurgica del Orinoco, SIDOR) Aug-1985 to Dec-1988
