My experience here was divided between RSS and conventional motor work including: 3D ERD long-radius horizontal wells. S & J profiles. I have drilled with ATK Xtreme; M1X, M1XL, ADM and Xtreme motors, hole sizes from 34”surface hole to 3 3/8” horizontal, tool sizes: 12 3/4” down to 2 3/8”. Have landed and steered horizontal wells in unpredictable, non-consolidated sands, limestone highly inter-bedded formations, mud cap drilling with total losses. Gyro kickoffs and sidetracks, as well as blind sidetracks. Platform drilling offshore: kicking off from vertical (22” hole) w/ horizontal landings per Aramco GOC (6 1/8” hole) with numerous and frequent target changes; OHST, setting and kicking off whipstock, as well as cement plugs, and MLT. I am experienced with BHA design, bit selection, calculating hydraulics, as well as, Torque & Drag and Anti-collision. Courses with BHI include: Directional Drilling, Torque & Drag, Hydraulics, Rotary Steerable Systems, AutoTrak, OnTrak, Drilling Dynamics & Well Architect. I have good understanding of the downhole environment, and am experienced dealing with vibration problems. I have worked on top drive, kelly and hydraulic-power-swivel rotary drive rigs. I am fluent with Well Architect, Director, Winserve, and WinSURV-2 survey programs, and Advantage Hydraulics, TaD, I can drill on Winserve, basic Excel spreadsheets or a HP 50g calculator.
