Working as Process Engineer in Vinyl Chloride Monomer Plant, Reliance Industries Ltd, Hazira Manufacturing Division, Surat from September’2008.

Job Profile:
As a Process Engineer:
 Process safety management (Dupont - PSM) coordinator of the Plant
 Monitoring process plant parameters and analyzing process problems and trouble shooting. Fair knowledge of Cracking Furnaces, Centrifugal Compressors, Fluidized Bed Reactor, Distillation Columns, Pumps in VCM plant.
 Handling of refrigeration compressors below -20oC using propylene (York Compressor), VCM storage spheres, Nitrogen bullets and Cl2 tonners handling.
 Generation of Monthly plant Variance report, Daily variance report.
 P&Ids development and up-dation & other parameters study for further plant load increase.
 Studying P&IDs and Data Sheets of the Equipments for the new projects.
 Up gradation of SOPs, Work Procedures & Risk Assessments when ever needed.
 Safe handling of hazardous, corrosive, inflammable hydrocarbons such as ethylene, propylene, EDC, Cl2 etc.
 Close co-ordination with maintenance dep’t for predictive, preventive & breakdown maintenance
 Knowledge of Fire & Gas Detection System.
 LEL Detection System.
 Hot job & confined space safety compliance checking.
 Routine safety audits for checking equipment health & integrity.
 Assisting in effective handling of emergency situations.
