The AFMIS project is to be considered as the biggest Software and Hardware Project for Yemen government. The purpose of this project is control the Budget of the State from preparation to Final Accounts through Budget Execution.
It mainly consists of 7 Modules which are:
1. System Administration Module.
2. System Setup Module.
3. Budget Preparation Module.
4. Budget Execution Module, include (Budget Execution Control, Expenditures, Revenues)
5. Fixed Assets.
6. Accounts Payable.
7. Final Accounts.
The AFMIS project have to be installed in all executive offices within Local and Central Authority, (i.e. in All Districts within Governorates and Ministries), so that every Budgetary unit able to prepare and execute its budget from its location, with the role of Ministry of Finance as a control and supervision.
This AFMIS project was and still developed in Oracle Forms and Reports 6i Release (2), Oracle 9i Release 9.2.0.1.0 as backend database server on IBM under AIX Unix.
