Multi task experiences. Possess more than 20 years of experience in inland Drilling, Drill Rig Refurbishment, HSSE, Business Development, Project Management, Environmental and Geological site work in various countries.

Raja Abd Halim is currently a Project Manager for an Inland Oil and Gas Drilling Services Company in Muscat, Oman. He started his career in 1992 with a Geo Technical Drilling Contractors first as Geologist (Sealand Teknikal and Subsurface Engineering) and later assuming the role of Engineering Geologist with Soils & Foundation (Contractor) and SSP-Geotechnics (Engineering Consulting Firm). After a five-year working experience, Raja Abd Halim moved to became as a Freelance Engineering Geologist from April 1997 to April 1999, mainly involved subsurface drilling.

He started his Environmental and Oil & Gas carrier in 1999. He started with ENSR International (later known as AECOM) that involved in HSE Oil and Gas Projects. He held various positions during his job domestically and internationally such as Environmental Geologist; Senior Project Manager (for regional Phase II ESA); Senior Manager of Project Services (Phase II and Remediation (2005-2007). After 8 years of services with this International Consulting Firm, in August 2007, Raja Abd Halim left ENSR International to join GESBGroup as Senior Group Manager for 3 years.

He later joined WorleyParsons as Business Development Manager before moving to Arabian Drilling Services LLC as Project Manager (Major Capital Projects). He is currently based in Muscat, Oman and responsible for the overall management of major drilling rig refurbishment upgrade projects under the direction of the ADS General Manager.

Raja Abd Halim holds a Bsc in Geology from National University of Malaysia.
