Over ten years of worldwide experience in the seismic industry now available to supervise and manage seismic surveys from design until processing. Began career as a field geophysicist on ENAGEO seismic crews, a national Algerian geophysical company leader in Africa and progressed to supervisory positions in the areas of quality control of seismic data acquisition, instrumentation and vibrator sources with WeasternGeco overseas. Requested and immediately contracted in 2005 by the Spanish oil gas company RepsolYpf to supervise and manage one of the most aggressive seismic projects in south of Algeria where three seismic crews worked at the same time in different remote locations and areas of environmental sensitive’s and local communities. Then Land operations geophysicist for Africa and Europe within the upstream managing division of RepsolYpf, in charge of all seismic projects from tender to final processing. I believe that a strong practical safety program is beneficial, and leads to improved performance results. My recent project in Mauritania have involved adherence to strict environmental and social impact regulations.
After 4 years within Reposlypf, accumulating knowledge and more experience in managing geophysical surveys, It was time to move forward and join the consultancy business. The beginning was with an Indian Oil and Gas company where as Geophysical Consultant for Acquisition and Processing I was supervising two seismic crews and Coordinating Data Quality Control and a Processing Centre. Eight engineers were trained and supervised while processing and interpreting the data using Promax and Kingdom Software.
In October 2009, I joined Jaguar exploration Inc to supervise and QC a 25000 channels Land-TZ-explosive 3D seismic in Qatar.
