ENI PAKISTAN — Karachi, Pakistan
Reservoir Engineer, 2008 to Present
Working with the Kirthar Reservoir Team on two of Pakistan’s biggest Gas producing fields (Operated and Non-Operated). The main responsibilities include monitoring and updating well and field performance, making new well and reservoir models, calibrating the existing models and sending the weekly and monthly production reports to HQ.
Key Results:
3D Dynamic models were built on Petrel based on different realizations of geological model that were used for production forecasting and reserves evaluation of a gas field.
A new well was located based on three history matched models that will prolong the plateau period of the production and provide 10 Bcf additional reserves.
Worked on the water disposal well performance to extend the water handling and treatment facilities after increase in water production with Wellhead Compression (WHC).
Conducted a study for erosional limit constraints of all gas wells after WHC for the life of field.
Analyzed and suggested optimum tubing configuration for different wells for re-completion.
Involved with HQ to develop a Production Database Management System for ENI Pakistan.
Conducted a study for acid matrix stimulation of a well and made profiles for different scenarios.
Involved in writing a paper for SPE Case Studies “Unconventional Application of Expandable Screens provides high deliverability at low cost, Bhit Field Application”.

Drilling Engineer, 2007 to 2008
Worked as a night company man for eight months and involved in drilling a discovery well. Later on, when shifted to head office made final well report for the well and involved in other routine activities like liaison with the contractors.
