Responsibilities as Consulting Engineer/Civil inspector

1 Study scope of work, specification, terms and contract and BOQ.
2 Liaise with contractor’s QA/ QC Manager with respect to purchase order and inspection activities.
3 Evaluate and monitoring contractor’s quality system, test plan and quality objective.
4 Review inspection and test plan to determine adequate level of surveillance if entered by third party.
5 Follow up ISO 9001 quality management system.
6 Prepare site memos and instructions to contractor w.r. to quality of work, workmanship & material
7 Study the structural drawing, archectural drawing and review.
8 Check and review the method statement, material submittals, and inspection request schedule from contractor. Joni Site visit with contractor and prepare punch list items.
9 Witness concrete pouring, compaction control, and related test. And maintain all records.
10 Inspect civil activity and material by checking, verification, and testing that the specified quality achieve.
Monitoring the procedure and activity of contractor as per procedure and standard codes ASTM, ACI, BS etc.
11 Monitor audit schedule and carryout checklist reviews in accordance with the agenda at appropriate points.
12 Communicate quality issues to client and management including core team & report to senior staff.AND NOT LIMITED
13 Prepare Document and maintain records of NCR.
