Professional Experience
• Interpretation: Currently working on a project of Assam Basin by using ‘Petrel’ software. The main aims of the project are to delineate faults, creating depth slices, creating horizons & surfaces, facies modeling using well data, determine the suitable drill locations etc.
• Calculation of ‘Reserve estimation’ of different oil & gas fields using PETREL software.
• Seismic Database Management: Maintain the seismic data received in various media (4-mm, Exa-bytes, IBM-3490, 3590, 3592) with proper number label & positioning. A database is strictly maintained to store the details of all those data cartridges.
• Loading & display of Processed Seismic, Navigation data & Well log data in the system for Interpretation by using ‘Geo-frame’ software.
• Processing of Seismic Data: Have processed Bengal Basin data up to PSTM by using ‘Focus’ & ‘Geo-depth’ software (Basics).
• Acting as Quality Examiner for the acquired seismic data.
• Acted as a quality controller at fugro, Mumbai during the processing of West Coast data as a DGH representative.
• Completed PST & HUET course & training for offshore survey. Certified for offshore survey.
• Use to attend Vessels to supervise the Acquisition Process of different companies as a DGH representative.
