Additional Information
Assist the Project QA/QC Supervisor and contractors quality personnel to ensure project quality objectives are achieved. Review supplier documentation to ensure project and national standard requirements have been addressed and approve. Monitor the implementation of the approved contractor Inspection & Test Plans and Instrumentation work. Ensure the competent and certified tradesmen are used to carry out electrical and instrumentation work. Verify that equipment is stored and preserved in line with manufacturers’ storage & preservation requirements.
Coordinate with the construction team during installation, termination a testing of cables and equipment to ensure the correct key activities can be witnessed and recorded. Ensure approved testing procedures are in place and verify all tests are carried out by suitably qualified personnel. Verify the suitability of all test equipment and ensure all test equipment in use is calibrated and has a valid certificate Provide early warning of potential quality problems and report areas of concern to the QA/QC Supervisor for action. Ensure all installation and test records are signed-off on a progressive basis and maintained for inclusion in the MDR. Review and approve the appropriate sections of the MDR.
