Piping Design Engineer in PDS environment

 Possess overall 14 years in which 7 years of professional experience in piping designing and drafting.  Possess ample knowledge of 3D modeling (PDS), Microstation, AutoCAD.

Foster Wheeler Bengal Pvt Ltd, a multinational leading international engineering, construction and project management contractor company, doing projects for upstream and downstream oil and gas, LNG, Petrochemicals and so on at Kolkata as an Engineer (PDS Design)

 Equipment modeling as per equipment drawing and valadating them.
 Nozzle orientation as per P&ID and Equipment drawing.
 Piping modeling as per P&ID and Plot Plan layout.
 Modelling pipe supports and MPS & SPS.
 Modelling access , maintainance, module envelopes.
 Isometric extraction using Isometric Drawing Manager.
 Piping General Arrangement Drawings using Drawing Manager and Orthogen.
 Clash detection from the clash report, correction and rectification of models and maintaining log for
the same.
 Closing the Client Reviewed TAGS for the close out action from time to time.
 Preparation of Equipment plot plan.
 Preparation of Piping Conceptual drawing (Single line Diagram).
 Preparing preliminary rack piping with accordance to the spacing chart.
 Preparation for unit elevation drawing.
 Preparation of unit battery limit drawing.
 Review the drawings compliance with DRI’s to meet the project requirements.
 Preparing drawing to suit the Design Basis of the project.
 Adapting to changes of deliverabables according client requirement from time to time.
 Reviewing the data sheets technical specifications and modelling them in PDS.
 Review the vendor drawing and packages to suit aptly the conditions of piping layout with respective
of project Design Basis.
 Preparing MPS lists and sending it to stress and structural review and approval.
 Co-ordinating and intracting with various disclipines like civil structural, instrumentation and projects in
sharing the technical adaptability of the project.
 Preparing piping layouts with consideration in Stick built and Modularization based P&ID.
