OPERATION SHIFT SUPERVISOR (2007 – TO DATE) IN AMENAS GAS PROJECT / ALGERIA: A joint venture between BP-Statoil-Sonatrach:
Wet gas processing & treatment plant. Capacity 36 MMSm3/d, producing 60 kbbl/d of condensate and LPG. Including: Amine CO2 removal unit, dehydration, turbo-expander, cold box, fractionation columns, centrifugal gas compressors, gas turbines, Condensate & LPG storage and export.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision : Directs, control and supervises the activities of assigned personnel involved in operating the oil and gas cluster production facilities, including starting up / shutting down the gas and oil treatment units and gas production wells, first line maintenance, house keeping, etc.
OPERATIONS ACTIVITIES:
-Monitors and supervises through the Local Control Room facilities the operation of crude and gas production/treatment plants to meet the Company's oil/gas production targets in terms of quality and quantity.
-Supervise the preparations of oil and gas equipment for routine, break down and planned maintenance activities as per established procedures.
-Troubleshoots minor operation problems and reports major problems and emergencies to Oil and Gas Operation Team Leader with proposed solutions.
-Evaluate daily pertaining equipment performance, prepares production reports and recommends to Team Leader for improvement.
-Achieving nominated production within contractual specifications of final products, in respect of the JV HSE policy.
-Ensuring proper function of equipments (rotating machines, column, packages etc…) including start-up & shutdown and troubleshooting where needed.
-Identify problems, raise and approve Work orders through the plant maintenance management tool (MAXIMO) in case of equipment malfunctions and/or abnormalities.

EDUCATION
2001 – 2006: Graduate of Chemical Engineering, From Faculty of Hydrocarbons and Chemistry (INH), Boumerdes, Algeria. Option: oil Refining.
Certification
March 2009: Certified training of Management of Major Emergencies (IMT: Incident Management Team, ICT: Incident Commander Team) from Petrofac Training Aberdeen.
September 2007: HSE internal for JV trainings Golden Rules (Confine space, Energy isolation, lifting operation, Communication, Excavation, Working at heights, Permit to work).
July 2008: COMPRESSOR CENTRIFUGAL BCL 606 AND TURBO EXPANDER ROTOFLOW by Nuovo Pignone (GEO) in Firenze Italy.
