Professional Experience
ľ Ensure legal requirements affecting safety, health and welfare are adhered.
ľ Ensure that methods of safe working arising from new developments.
ľ Ensure that all Regulations are being observed, e.g. that statutory notices have been posted; that restrooms, washing facilities and other welfare amenities have been provided and properly maintained.
ľ Ensure that qualified man with first aider is available is on site and that at least a fist aid box is available.
ľ Determine that cause of any accident or dangerous occurrence and recommend means of preventing recurrence.
ľ Supervise the recording and analysis of information on injuries, ill health, damage and production, loss assess accident trends and review overall safety performance.
ľ Assist with training for all levels of employee, and suggest poster, slides, films and filmstrips to promote awareness of injury prevention, hazards to health and damage control.
ľ Keep contact with official and professional bodies, (e.g. local authorities)
ľ Take part, where possible in site management / operative discussions on injury, health and welfare, damage and wastage control.
ľ Keep up to date with recommended codes of practice and new safety and health literature; circulate information applicable to each level of employee.
ľ Conduct Safety meeting or Tool Box meeting Once in a week
ľ Proper orientation of Safety rules and regulations for new employees
ľ Obtain required working permit for every restricted areas such as flammable areas, hydrocarbon area etc.
ľ Conduct training sessions for proper use of basic tools, Cartridge & Mechanical operated tools.
ľ Maintain accident log recoding for all pertained information to the accident
ľ Assures that all workers (personnel) work safety within the guidelines of safety rules and regulations
ľ Conduct Respirator training and proper way to use fire extinguisher and what type fire to be used
