Professional Experience
Experience in Oil Country Tubular Goods Inspections of new and used tubular goods according to accepted API, DS-1, and/or clients specification. Performs thread inspection on new and used tubular threads including VAM, Hydrill, NSCT, Buttress and API rotary connections. Well conversant with various aspects of quality inspection and maintenance of drill pipes, API Casing, Tubing, Line pipes and Drill Stem Assembly.
Inspection capabilities include Magnaflux Inspection, Sonoscope, API Thread Gauging, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Liquid Dye Penetrant Testing, Interpretation and evaluation of test result in accordance with API specification, T.H. Hill DS-1 and/or clients specification.
Inspection of (Cargo Carrying Unit’s) Container , Basket, Skid and Visual Inspections on Wire Rope and Shackles in accordance with BS , EN , DNV standards and/or clients specification.
