Environmental Engineer

I had the opportunity to learn both construction management during undergraduate studies and environmental engineering during masters studies.

I was enrolled in Carleton University as a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant beside studying for the masters. I was assisting in teaching several courses specifically Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management for fourth year students and I used to assist in their fourth year projects for both civil and environmental students. I had the opportunity to get involved within the construction management field during my undergraduate and the environmental field in my masters level.

I have an undergraduate degree from Arab Academy for Science and Technology (Cairo, Egypt) in Civil Engineering with significant knowledge and experience in construction management. My fourth year project was mainly focused on the management aspects accompanied with the life cycle of a large scale operational and production building. During my masters’ studies, I decided to add an environmental side to my work in order to combine between management and environmental side during work. My Master`s thesis title was “Characterization of Soil Wettability Changes of a Diesel-Impacted Field Soil”.
