Job description

1-Assemble, disassemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical down hole(LWD/MWD) drilling assemblies, test fixtures, and components
2-Actively participate in all shop activities, including housekeeping and general maintenance of shop tools and equipment
3- testing products with software supplied by company
Proactively schedule and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
4-Consistentl enter the required data in POMD
5-Inform management of status and keep up with production schedule
6- working though electrical and mechanical problems using general shop tools and/or power tools with little supervision
7-forklift and side loader full maintenance (overhauling-suspension-) hydraulic lines
8-Assemble,disassemble ,test and troubleshoot for 2DRS Motors and 3DRS Pathmaker
9-Full service for the surface gear unit and sensors
Job responsibilities
1-Carry out servicing, assembly and testing work on Pathfinder equipment in accordance with quality management system..
2-Prepare and maintain associated documentation in accordance with Pathfinder's quality management system.
3-Identify re-work, inspection and repair work in order to ensure that equipment is readily available for allocation to specific jobs.
4-Lease with Support Services and third party suppliers to ensure that inspection and repair work is carried out in an efficient manner
6-Identify potential hazards and monitor the condition of hand tools and machinery, communicating any discrepancies to the Workshop Supervisor / Operations Supervisor..
7-Ensure that stock of consumable items and spare parts are monitored and maintained to suit activity levels.
9-Provide guidance, assistance and training for workshop Technicians, as and when required.
11-Providing Company management with 24-hour contact / availability for operations, as and when required, on a rotational basis.

12-Ensure that product familiarity is maintained as new products are introduced. Undertaking any required training to a satisfactory level of achievement.
14-Service, assemble and test equipment in accordance with company manufacturer data books.
15-Report faults and complete maintenance reports once repairs are completed. Obtain quotes for replacement parts and spares as required.
