Drilling Supervisor

1.Supervise the drilling of vertical and directional wells as per program in a cost effective and safe manner including the following:
a)Optimizing drilling parameters in different hole sections.
b)Optimizing mud properties.
c)Optimize bit hydraulics to get maximum ROP.
d)Run bits with or without motors.
e)Performing sidetracks.
f)Perform magnetic or electric single or multi shot survey.
g)Perform coring and supervise logging as per program.
h)Running & cementing casing and liner.
i)Calculating and performing cement jobs.
2.Manage the execution of the operations carried out by the rig under my control, following the drilling programs.
3.Manage the HSE performance of the rig in compliance with specific HSE policies and procedures.
4.Provide reporting of all well site activities.
5.Responsible for doing a first-line investigation and reporting of all accidents and incidents on the location.
6.Monitor the operational and technical performance of well site contractor resources against agreed indicators, for surface and sub-surface activities; verify that the quality and cost effectiveness of the drilling products delivered by my well site organization is meeting agreed customer specifications.
7.Supervise Rig inspection as per check list.
8.Supervise all fishing operation.

Current Job
I am working as “Sec. Head Drilling Supervisor” in Onshore Oil Field for Qarun Petroleum Company (Western Desert-Egypt). A joint venture company between EGPC and Apache USA for the production of oil and gas.
