2. 17 September 2007 to date Finance Manager at Kobil Ethiopia Ltd, fully owned subsidiary of KenolKobil, a Kenyan based oil company operating in various countries in East Africa.
„Ã As finance manager of the company I am responsible for the overall finance function, group reporting, and advisory service to the General Manager and the Parent Company on finance, tax, employment and administration issues, etc.
„Ã I have participated and lead the selection and hiring process of manpower, organized the tasks of the finance department, trained and supervised the employees of the department to enable them handle the various tasks of the department.
„Ã My task also includes liaison with external auditors, tax authority, banks and insurance companies on affairs of the company.

3. 15 February 2004 to 17 September 2007 ¡V Controller (Manager Control Department) at United Bank Shares Company
As Controller of the bank I was in charge with ultimate responsibility of the audit and inspection function of the Bank reporting to the Board of Directors. I was also responsible to monitor the activities of the control department in order to establish and maintain effective and efficient internal control so that the bank¡¦s assets are safe guarded, authorized and accurate records are maintained, accurate and reliable reports are generated timely, the banks operations are carried out in orderly manner and according to rules and procedures laid dawn by the bank, and to ensure compliance with the directives of the supervisory authority (NBE) and other government regulations.

- Graduate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), average mark 63.70% under the International Accounting Standards stream, in year 2000.
- BA in Accounting with distinction, GPA 3.60, major GPA 3.78 from Addis Ababa University, in year 1997.
