Accountant

• Preparation for Investigation and audits with the Inland Revenue New Zealand.
• Hiring Onshore and Offshore Part time / Full Time/ Seasonal / Casual Employees.
• Coordination with Labor/ Immigration Department, Labor and Immigration laws.
• Involved with Inland Revenue Department for handling filing of Payroll Tax, Personal Tax, Provisional Tax, Withholding Tax and Goods and Service Tax.
• Verification and eligibility check for the newly hired employees and their status.
• Calculation of wages, PAYE and internal check of timesheets and invoicing the direct labor wages.
• Proper documentation & maintain databases for future references and audit purposes using different software (MYOB, ACC, MS ACCESS, MS EXCEL, WORD).
• Upward and Downward communication and reporting to Director and take necessary steps towards the company growth and healthy environment.
• Proper classification of labor resources and delegation of responsibility after evaluating / analyzing their skill sets.
• Reconciliation of Invoice / Wages / Bank and resolve in case of any discrepancies or variances.
• Processing with debt recovery and provision with bad debts, their treatments in regard to future customer relationship for implicit and explicit decisions.
• Verifying the ACC amount and Installments on various aspects. (Shareholder, Director, Employees, Employer).
• Preparation, calculation, valuation, Depreciation of assets and gather consolidated data for annual return and filings.
