Fishing Tool Supervisor

My plan is to enhance my career by and at some point join a management team within the oil industry or possibly branch out and try some consulting within the fishing and remedial services enviroment.

I have a total of 30 years oil field experience in drilling, workover and completion operations, involving the drilling of vertical, horizontal, multi-lateral and extended reach wells.
I have worked on various installations including semi-submersibles, jack-ups, platforms, and drill ships globally, in positions from roustabout and then progressing up to Tool Pusher.
I changed my career path to Fishing Tool Supervisor to enhance my oil field experience and also for the challenge the position presents.
Throughout, and most importantly in my years in the field I have maintained an excellent safety standard and record. I adapted to the ‘lead by example’ attitude many years ago and have maintained that principle ever since.
My relations with both colleagues and clients of many cultures has been exceptional
I am fully conversant on HSE standards, safety management and procedures.
My present duties include providing drilling and remedial services to the client, such as, pre-job planning and post job analysis, side tracking, under-reaming, down hole fishing [open and cased hole] packer milling and retrieval, down hole back off’s including “blind” and string shot, section milling and various other milling operations also well abandonment on and offshore.

• Over 30 years experience in the oil and gas service industry.
• Excellent down-hole and surface equipment knowledge.
• Ability to transfer down-hole knowledge and experience into technical applications.
• Deep water offshore experience on rigs, productions platforms and remote platforms.
• Excellent knowledge base of all work-over, completion and drilling operations including: 1) Sour environments, 2) High-pressure environments, 3) Deep well operations, 4) Heavy oil wells, 5) Horizontal and deviated wells, 6)Shallow gas wells.
• Excellent working knowledge of computers and software.
• Excellent knowledge of downhole tools.
• Experience working in environments such as extreme temperatures, remote locations, and third world countries.
• A self-starter and a problem solver, both for my employer and our customers.

Standerd education in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK.
