Customer Service

I am looking to bring my experience to your company at a basic level to learn and grow with Gulf Oil to make a career position. I excel at positions that give me the opportunity and plan to work my way to the top.

I entered the work force at the age of 17 years old. I started working at Papa Gino's in August of 2005 and worked as a cashier. It was very fast paced and taught me how to work efficiently with-in a short amout of time and how to manage time between customers. I found a better career at Cumberland Farms in early January 2006. I started out working 2nd shift which was also the closing shift of the store and in-charge of locking up when my shift was completed. My duties including but were not limited to; Restocking coolers, cleaning the store enitely, and asking for valid identification in tobacco and alcohol sales. I left Cumberland Farm's on good terms due to a personal loss. I restarted work at Wal-Mart in November 2007 as a cashier. I continued to work efficiently and effectively with-in my skill set also dealing with customer service and customer relations. After my child was born I went back to work after six weeks of maternity leave and had my hours cut down to where it was costing more to get to work than I was bringing in. I left Wal-Mart after one great year of service. I also worked at the Rochester Fair in 2010 for the season. I worked as a cashier in one-on-one customer service handling thousands of dollars a day and was never short on my drawer. I have been asked to come back for the next season and will only go if I am not gainfully employed.

I started my educational experience in my junior year of high-school when I started a two-year class of marketing. I went to a handful of school-appointed conferences to learn how to market different products and to capitalize my sales experience. I also completed one year of accounting which I used to hone-in my skill of account management.

I have not worked since the Rochester Fair due to my fiance being 100% disabled from the US Army. Now that he has become stable to care for the children and himself I would like to go back to work. I would like to work for your company because I am friendly, considerate and customer-oriented.
