•Position: Research & Development Candy Commercialisation Engineer for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
•I received a promotion from junior to supervisor level during my first working year.

• Accountabilities:
Involvement in all phases of product development from initial prototyping through to launch.More specifically:
• Responsible for conducting commercialisation trials (launching new products and upgrading current products) through the manufacturing process steps for the projects that take place at the 3 sites (Egypt, Lebanon and Morocco).
• Responsible for studying the different process steps and parameters of the 3 sites. Also for preparing the raw materials needed for the trials in the laboratory.
• Ensuring efficient commercialisation (product qualification) of all Candy projects including Cadbury’s current products modifications through collaboration with Supply Chain to support activities and facilitate run to standard.
• Developing perfection and operational BOM’s for all new products and product changes.
• Providing technical assistance in improving production efficiency.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to help solve plant production problems.

• Upholding the quality and safety standards laid down by Cadbury, ensuring that all new products and materials are evaluated for compliance and that all quality pre-requisites are adhered to for new product launches.
• Creating ingredient and final product specifications and support the regulatory affairs team.
