Duties: To log the rock types contained within the drilled cuttings at the well site, monitor the well and maintain sensors and data acquisition equipment;
- To assist in efficient well information acquisition of wells during well operation activities concerned with researching hydrocarbons and other products;
- To examine and describe samples according to oil industry standards and clients specifications and examine for hydrocarbon shows;
- To assist in core recovery and core description when required and to be responsible for communicating any information that helps maintain Primary Well Control and general well integrity- cuttings sizes and shape, lack of cuttings whilst drilling, gas cut mud and visual inspection of gas sampling apparatus at the shakers;
