Since May 1986 to August 1992 worked as Radio / Telecommunication Operator for Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO)
1. Operating UHF Radio to coordinate with Onshore Oil Operating Rigs and Production
facilities.
2. Coordinate with Oil Field Service Companies to arrange rig requirements.
3. Coordinating with Emergency Response Center, Doctors, Aviation Services, Fire Brigade,
and other key places to handle emergency situations (Missing Person, Medevac due to
to serious injury / illness, Major Fire, Radiation Incident, Explosives Incidents, Oil Spills,
Chemical Spills, Well Kick, Potential Blowout, Blowout Rig Failure etc)
4. Receiving incoming telexes from all over the world for oil requirement and oil related
services.
6. Transmitting outgoing telexes to oil loading ports and oil production companies all over
the world.
7. Dealing with minor technical faults and telecommunication equipment and reporting
Equipment malfunction to concerned authorities.
8. Transmitting messages to Fields / Rigs as directed by down based authorized personnel
At any time during the day using correct procedures and respecting confidentially of the all messages throughout.
9. Passing all urgent messages by telephone to addresses and taken down reply as necessary.
10. Receiving weather reports thrice daily and transmitting same to I.A.L. Met Office.

1. Responsible for maintaining the communication link between Base and Rigs.
2. Collecting all data, messages and transmitting to concerned authorities.
3. Making daily drilling program reports, Well cost control, Bottom hole assembly sheet and
other office correspondence.
4. Entering technical data to Daily Drilling Reports through DIMS (Drilling Information
Management System) and transmitting to Operator (Abu Dhabi Onshore Oil Operations /
National Drilling Company) via online network system.
5. Making office documentation and maintaining filing system as standard level.
