Contracts Manager

I am seeking a position as either Contracts Manager or Senior Contracts Administrator / Engineer in the oil and gas or nuclear industries on family status.

Contracts Manager
Solid Waste Management Storage Facilities projects – Lithuania. Responsible for all commercial areas to close-out including correspondence, procurement, change management, training of junior commercial personnel, risk assessment, negotiation and settlement of changes and associated programme impact on behalf of the Client.
Steam Pipeline project - Lithuania. Responsible for all commercial areas from green-field to close-out including correspondence, procurement, change management, successful negotiation of extension of time claim & other claims on behalf of the Contractor.
Gas Pipeline projects – UK. Responsible for the implementation of a robust cost-control system, training of junior commercial and non-commercial personnel, risk assessment, negotiation and settlement of changes and associated programme impact on behalf of the client.

Senior Contracts Administrator / Engineer
Gas to Liquids project – Qatar. Responsible for the complete commercial and contractual control of numerous civil and steel works Contracts with a combined value of $850 million USD. Duties included provision of commercial, contractual and technical support to the Client’s Project Managers and direction of PMC contracts administrator’s activities. Further duties entailed preparation of defence against Contractor’s claims and facilitation of counter claims, chairing contractual negotiations and subsequently closing-out the final accounts of several multi-disciplined contracts on behalf of the client, Qatar Shell GTL Limited.
Oil Refinery project – Lithuania. Responsible for the management of numerous multi-disciplined civil and mechanical works contracts from inception to final account and training of a team of 10 Lithuanian contracts administrators on behalf of the Client.
Gas Pipeline projects – UK. Responsible for the day-to-day management of commercial activities including claims negotiation and subsequently closing-out the final accounts of several multi-disciplined contracts on behalf of the client.
Fibre-Optic project – UK. Site-based, responsible for cost analysis and forecasting, maintaining a live as-built database of progress, incidents and impacts. Preparation and presentation of a period executive summary to senior management and assembly of site HSSE and QA data. Management of subcontractors programme and budget on behalf of the client.
