Professional Experience
At both De Beers Marine Cape Town and De Beers Marine Namibia, Alroy reported to Marine Production Superintendent (offshore) and to the Production Geologist (onshore). Over the course of this period, his responsibilities have included: observing, recording and interpreting geological data from offshore Marine deposits; to provide information for geological mapping and evaluation of the ore deposit. Over the years, Alroy has also gained a detailed and practical understanding of the marine diamond processing plant and mining tools Other duties included development and maintenance of an Access Database to manage this dataset; specifically integration of data with ArcGIS.
