Key Deliverables:
To plan and coordinates a safe and healthy work environment for all Company and
contractor personnel in the plant and collection centers.
To develop and monitor safety procedures, conduct safety training programs, audit work
practices in assigned area and providing training for various levels of management on safety orientation.
Strict adherence to work permit procedures, verification of work permit system and arrange safety warnings & hazards, conduct ongoing emergency preparedness programs and skills
To investigate, report and advise the management on all matters related to incidents, accidents and safety violations and submit appropriate recommendations to prevent their recurrence.
Supervise and manages a staff of sixteen Safety & Fire professionals working in the department which includes setting the budget for the department of including budgeting of manpower requirements and training and development
To interact with senior/mid level management of Operations, Maintenance and Engineering on all safety matters.
To ensure safety of the workers as well as assets by identifying hazards and controlling risks.
Educating & motivating employees to work and live safely.
Fire prevention, fire fighting, inspection of fire pumps, hoses, water pressure, sprinklers etc.
Use of various types of fire extinguishers. Conducting Emergency exit & evacuation drills
