Responsibilities included:
• Collection of rock core samples during drilling and preservation of the same. Writing down the geological description of the core samples, Core photography. RCA and SCA of core samples.
• Collection of cored coal samples and preserving the same in canisters for analysis of Desorbed gas (Q1) and Lost gas (Q3). Analysis of Residual gas (Q2) in coal and finally the Total gas content (Q4).
• Worked on Coal bed methane exploration projects In India and Australia.

JUNIOR GEOLOGIST
Responsibilities included:
• Collection of borehole soil samples and preparation of bore log and its analysis.
• Petrographical analysis of rocks.
• Carrying out the Resistivity Survey for Ground water exploration.
• Geological mapping of the area.
• Worked on some of the major gas pipeline projects as a Junior Geologist for soil testing. Viz. (a) GAIL gas pipeline projects from Sangrur (Punjab) to Bhatinda (NFL, Punjab) and Sangrur to Nangal (NFL). (b) GAIL gas pipeline project from Mathania (Jodhpur) to Gudamalani (Barmer). Responsibilities included the collection of borehole samples and establishing the stratigraphy of the area, conducting the soil resistivity survey for determination of soil salinity.
• Worked on Minor fishing port project near Billimora.
