Tasks include Supervision of Instrumentation Crew in the three secondary upgrading hydrotreaters and the hydrogen reformer; Delegation of daily projects; organization of workers, materials and tools; daily progress reports; intercommunication between E/I maintenance, operations, and other subcontractors; maintenance and troubleshooting of all instruments and control systems on site; pre-commissioning and commissioning of new systems being brought online; preventative maintenance packages for integral safety systems and efficiency optimization; documentation and organization of work orders, work performed, materials and parts needed; worker job safety observations and safety recommendations; startup support for various plants within the site; and on call support for incidents, plant shutdowns and plant knockdowns. Initial commissioning and startup was also accomplished after completion of construction to achieve first oil on site.

Tasks include maintenance, calibration and tuning of instruments in plant, conversion to PLC and multiplexer control systems, installation of new instruments and troubleshooting.

Tasks include installation of instruments, quality checks and correction of deficiencies, design of instrument and signal line emplacements, safety assessments and reading and interpretation of P&ID and ISO drawings.
