Professional Experience
I have successfully completed in house training at KOC,Canadian Nexen Petroleum and Dubai Petroleum, some of the training are listed below: • SAP R/3 Production and SAP BW. • MAXIMO Release 6.1 • Work Processing Part I ( Notification processing and scheduling) • Material & Service Requests. (Creating reservations and Vendor Service Requests) • Goods & Service Receiving. (Purchase Requests etc). • Permit to Work. • Waste Management Training. Skills: Well verse with SAP and Maximo. Highly skilled in PC applications. Well verse with maintenance planning and material management system, in-house and vendor repairs. Posses good awareness of safety standards and permit to work system. Experienced in coordinating vendor repair activities for the field. Experience: 1. From July 1999 to Feb 2004, Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) as a Technical Assistant/Coordinator with Planning Department. The job included time keeping of 350 employees, preparing leave schedules, preparing service orders for contractors, arranging materials, coordinating with Contractors and KOC etc. 2. From Mar 2004 to Apr 2008 with Canadian Nexen Petroleum, Yemen as a maintenance planner, my responsibilities included, maintenance, including electrical, instrument and mechanical, time keeping of 400 and above men on daily basis. Assisting Lead Planners in daily planning activities. Preparing reports to Maintenance Superintendents, Maintenance Manager etc. 3. Since May 2004 with Dubai Petroleum as Mechanical Planner in SWF. In my 3 years tenure as SWF Mechanical Planner with DP, I have learned lot of experience in Planning and Scheduling. Follow-up of materials and executing the job in a timely manner. Coordinating with buyers for non stock materials and preparing PRs and expediting the materials on urgent basis. Identifying the repairable spares and preparing return requests to send them back after completion of job. Coordinating for emergency call-in materials with concerned Field Superintendent for approval. During my rotation, there was PT change out, Engine change, Bundle change. Also assisting Supervisor to prepare MCR for updating or creating new procedures or BOMs etc. Also coordinating with Vendors like Aggreko to carry out PPMs or repairs on rented equipments. Preparing reports to Craft Supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent.
Eductation
Bachelor of Commerce from Calicut University , Kerala , India from 1982 – 1985. Diploma in Computer Programming and Design Application.
