QA/QC MANAGER

I have 16 years of experience in QA/QC field and I completed lot of projects in oil & gas and petrochemical field. Right now I am working as QA/QC Manager in QATAR for Steam Header Integration Project at QAFCO .

 Verification & approval of all the EPCC and PCC contractor QA/QC Procedures.
 Verification of contractor’s ITP, WPS/PQR & WPQR and give approval.
 Participating in the kick off and weekly project progress meeting.
 Conducting QA/QC weekly Meeting with the contractor to resolve the issues/concerns related with quality.
 Conducting internal meeting with QA/QC Engineers & Discipline inspectors on daily basis and follow-up daily site activities.
 Verification of all documents related with inspection activities as per approved ITP.
 Maintaining all safety aspects both at site and offices as per company HSE policy thru HSE representative.
 Resolving of all quality related issues whenever it arises.
 Performing both internal and external audit at planned schedule.
 Issuing of CAR if it is required and follow-up with the contractor until it will be closed.
 Raising of NCR if the contractor will deviate from owner requirements.
 Follow-up the NCR until it will be rectified and closed.
 Attending some inspections incase of emergency.
 Review all the hydro test packages and give approval.
 Develop the QA/QC procedure & report format for some critical activities.
 To take care about all activities related with QA/QC.
 A wide experience of handling and closing of shut down projects in oil & gas and petrochemical industry.
 Handling , commissioning and closing of the projects as per Owner Specification and International Code.
 Review of QC dossier when the project will be completed and hand over to the clients.

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (4 years) from Madurai Kamaraj Universty – Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Done at Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering & Technology – Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India.
• Certified Welding Inspector – From American Welding Society – Validity up to January , 2013.
• ASNT Level II Penetrant Testing NDE Certification from IQC Training & Services Pvt. Ltd
• ASNT Level II Magnetic Particle Testing NDE Certification from IQC Training & Services Pvt. Ltd – Chennai .
 ASNT Level II Radiographic Testing NDE Certification from IQC Training & Services Pvt. Ltd – Chennai .
 ASNT level II Radiographic film Interpretation NDE certification from IQC Training & Services Pvt. Ltd – Chennai - 600 004, Tamil Nadu, India.
