General Management

Assists the commanding Officer (CO) as the senior Warrant Officer in the unit. Keeps apprised of all policies of the CO. Disseminates information to the unit's personnel regarding policies. Reports to the CO on the status of all matters.

• Maintenance of management information system, responsible for communicating management policy- Unit Establishment Administrator - Oracle based Joint Personnel Administration (JPA) database.
• Named responsible for Health and Safety at work, conducts all organisations Health and Safety inspections
• Ensuring appropriate training objectives are achieved by service personnel, monitoring and reviewing progress to date
• Implementation of new and reviewing current security and fire legislation
• Career management and continuous professional development of 180 Royal Marines
• Implementation of new legislation, policies and procedures covering personnel and their welfare
• Welfare, Administration and Discipline of 180 Service and Civilian personnel of all ranks/grades
• Movement and tracking of 180 Service and Civilian personnel of all ranks/grades across the globe
• Timely implementation of trauma risk management by ensuring personnel exposed to trauma receive timely and effective support on return from war fighting operations
• Named specialist for arduous training/operations in Mountainous and Cold Weather climates
• Accounting and overseeing best practices in the running of a vibrant and large social club
