Job profile:
• Safe, reliable and efficient pipeline operations from remote operations centre.
• Remote start up ,shut down of compressor stations/Gas turbine and compressors, M&R stations, Packing, drafting or shifting of line pack , Pipeline capacity test, Emergency handling.
• Ensure to meet delivery to customers as per schedule and within contract specification.
• Responsible for preparation of pipeline operations related SOPs, Pre commission and commissioning checklists, Preparation and implementation of HOTO, review of SCADA Graphics & introducing changes there in as & when required,
• Simulating various pipeline normal and abnormal operating conditions using Pipeline Application Software simulator along with Gas quality tracking, checking/declaring pipeline capacity with respect to consumer demands.
• Supervising manpower scheduling for various daily activities and checking worker deployment.
• Preparation of various daily, Weekly and Monthly MIS reports, Daily Operations Plan including hydraulic calculations of line pack, flow rates and pressure profile.
• Interactions with upstream producer, and downstream customers and gas marketing group.
• Managing HSEF related activities, including emergency mock drills and fire fighting skills.
• Maintaining e-log and upgrading MIS reports.
• Issuing curtailment orders, if required.
• Alarm management including monitoring, acknowledgement & taking appropriate corrective actions.
• Proactive planning and preparations for the next gas day.
• Participation in field commissioning activities.
• Approve work permit and create notification through SAP.
• Participating in daily production coordination meeting with upstream and ,gas marketing
• Coordinating with HO as well as the local agencies.
