To lead of team in the field of instrumentaion in Engineering/commissioning & operation-Maintenance

Employed in Cairn Energy India Pty Ltd., an Oil and Gas Multinational Company in India on ON/OFF cycle as Manager -Maintenance.
Maintenance: Providing Engineering solutions and implementation of the same to avoid problems and prevent recurrences. Routine Maintenance which includes planning, procurement of spares, vendor development, inventory control, system up gradation, training of persons, documentation, cost control and performance appraisal. Preparation of schedules for Predictive and preventive maintenance of equipments. Interaction with other disciplines like Mechanical, Electrical, Production etc., in forming taskforces to solve issues.
Leading and managing a team of Superintendents, Sr.Engineers, Engineers, Sr.Technicians, Technicians and Trainees.

Team Management: Participate in recruitment, training and development of teams, Ensure proper staffing to maintain the facilities, provide role clarity, manage performance and competency levels of personnel, set objectives, conduct performance appraisal, assist in settling personnel issues in line with Company policies and procedures IN ORDER TO motivate and manage a cohesive organisation
Projects planning and approval: Interface with all upcoming projects for effective engineering controls and commissioning, provide relevant technical inputs in time, based on prevailing safety, operation and maintenance aspects IN ORDER TO ensure effective planning of all projects.
Project Implementation: Manage and execute all commissioning activities by constituting a team IN ORDER TO ensure timely and effective completion of all projects.

AMIE in Electronics & Instrumentation and M.tech in Electronics & instrumentation

ENGINEERING & DESIGN:
Developing the initial bill of material; preparing technical layouts and drawings for proposal estimation.
Reviewing the Technical Document Register (TDR), evaluate number of required drawings.
Reviewing of the Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
Reviewing of the Fire and Gas Detector Layout Drawings, Instrument Specifications, Equipment Specifications, Pipe Specifications, Instrument Index, Instrument Design Basis and other relevant documents.
Reviewing of the Design Basis and create I/O lists, assess total number of engineering deliverables, drafting and drawing requirements, format of delivery, time schedules and other requirements for execution of the work.
Calculation of manpower and personnel assignments for the execution of design activities within budgeted project man-hours.
Reviewing of 2D and 3D models with adequate dimensions necessary to assist the Engineering disciplines and Fabrication/Construction.
Preparation & reviewing of Cause and Effect Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Functional Logic Diagrams, Terminations Diagrams, Installation Hook-up Drawings, Instrument Plot Plans, Control Panel Drawings, Control/Equipment Room Lay-outs, Cable Tray/Trench Lay-outs, Cable/Tubing Schedules and Cable Drum Schedules, JB schedules, Interconnection Schedules, Fire/Smoke Detection Lay-out and Alarm Lists.
