GRADUATE MECHANICAL ENGINEER

To find a challenging position to meet my competencies, capabilities, abilities, skills and experiences.

2010 : I work in Uganda Batteries Ltd as a Production Shift Supervisor. Here I ensure that quality and targets are met per day in different production lines. Good production per shift in order to improve my production supervision skills. i.e. I ensure minimal scrap production by introducing new production techniques and team work. I also work night shifts weekly.
2008 : Shumuk Aluminium Industries limited. In this industry I learnt a lot in the production sector (A product produced through all stages 1.e. raw materials to the finished part) e.g. saucepans, kettles, tiffins, frying pans, etc.
I also did a lot of maintenance work of all the different machines available in the industry e.g. Hot and cold rolling mills, melting furnace, deep draw press, shearing machine, blanking machine, lathe, shaper, grinder, drilling machine, kettle spinning, surface finish, circle cutting, balling machine, etc.
Not only did I maintain them but also had to use each of them often and also did welding, lumbering work and lastly supervision.
2007 : Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). I worked in this company during my industrial training second year as a student engineer during which I got exposed to different areas and it was basically maintenance work in: Mechanical workshop (motor vehicle maintenance e.g. fire station auto mobiles “tangles”,etc), Escalators, Lifts, Generators, Water pump and supply lines,
I also had a chance to inspect and make a report on the simple maintence of air crafts at the old air port and also inspected the reconstruction of the old air port air field and runway.
Vacation 2004 : I worked in a number of industries; Rene Industries (store keeper assistant, and later supervised night shift for a short time), Oversees industry as a machine operator for candle making, toilet paper rolling machine, boiler operator for wax. These industries are located in Kyambogo.
