Highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years experience in mechanical engineering works for production, refining, petrochemical industries in North America, North / South Africa and Europe. Responsible for the design, specification and selection of equipment and piping for chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas plant projects. Experience includes working as a Lead Mechanical / Project Engineer on multi discipline oil and gas projects and as a Design Engineer with plant equipment fabricators.

-During 20 years with employment with Zueitina Oil Company completed many Projects; purchase and installation of new Propane / Butane Tanks, new Crude oil Tanks, new Compressors, new Heat Exchangers, new Pumps, new Flare Systems, new Crude Oil and Condensate Pipe Lines, new Water Injection / Gas Injection Lines, new Fire Mains at different Sites, repairs to many old corroded Tanks ranging in size from 100,000 barrels to 1,000,000 barrels, repairs and replacement of old corroded Crude Oil / Gas / Condensate Lines ranging from 4” to 42”. New Tanks and Tank Repairs in accordance with applicable Codes; API 620, 650 and 653.
- Provided engineering services required to carry out construction projects related to mechanical equipment and piping including design, preparation of tender proposals, ordering and expediting materials, cost analysis, maintaining projects records and preparing project reports.
- Provided technical advice and supervision for personnel working on mechanical projects including checking contract work to ensure compliance with specifications and engineering standards.
- Liaison with Suppliers and Contractors regarding services, materials, costs and execution of work.
- Bid analysis and recommendations to procure materials and award construction contracts.
- Site desert trips to Company oil field installations to investigate special operating problems and recommend solutions.
- Provided data required for preparation of capital project plans and budgets.

Forced to leave Libya during the recent political disturbances after working for Zueitina (Occidental) Oil Company for 20 years.
