Tanton Mike Trainee ROV Pilot/Electronics Tech and Rigger

My objective is to get my foot in the door in the ROV industry and then gain as much experience and knowledge of the industry to eventually become a respected PT/project manager.

I have no oil & gas offshore experience (I am looking to get my foot in the door). I do however have experience in the Commercial Crayfishing industry as well as the commercial Tuna Fishing and Live Aboard Sailing industry.

All my documentation (certification & travel) is in order and I am ready to mobilise at very short notice.

I have no dependants, obligations or any responsibilities that prevent me from working extended periods offshore.

I am a very quick learner and intelligent enough to be able to learn from others without getting in the way.

I get along very well with people and therefore know that I will fit into any team quite easily and without any conflict. My adventurous spirit also does not restrict me to working in any specific part of the world.

I also appreciate what makes a good ROV pilot/tech and am committed to furthering my education, experience and ultimately my career in this regard. I really am very committed to having a successful career in the ROV industry.

Ideally, I would like a permanent position so that I can develop my skills and grow with a company, however, I will accept and take on any ROV affiliated work so as to gain knowledge and experience of the industry.
