June 09 Present Seismic Health and Safety Advisor, working largely through Exploration Logistics as Health and Safety Advisor or Supervisor most recently in Dubai for CGGVeritas as a Health and Safety Supervisor overseeing the preparation for a new OBC seismic survey offshore Saudi Arabia. This job involved supervising all health and safety aspects of the conversion and preparation of a fleet of 7 ships. Whilst working for Exploration Logistics I have also worked offshore Nigeria for RXT reservoir technologies. Typical tasks whilst working offshore include training of various types, auditing and inspecting, preparation of Safety Cases, Operational manuals and procedures, accident investigations and generally providing safety advice.

Skills and experience
A thorough knowledge of and practical experience of creating and implementing Safety Management Systems with associated tools; including risk analysis, accident investigation, policy and procedure writing, creating Safety Cases, supervising and creating Job Safety Analysis schedules, the DoPont STOP system etc. etc.
Knowledge and experience of performing Safety, Environmental and Quality Auditing. Experience in supervising responses to a variety of laws and guidelines including the SOLAS Convention, the MARPOL Convention, the ISM Code and other maritime laws, ISO 9001 and the Packaging Waste Regulations.
A good working knowledge of health and safety legislation including the packaging waste regulations and the ISM Code.
The ability to produce reports and data summaries from a wide variety of information resources to a professional standard. Production of company HSE statistics.
A good working knowledge of computers and computer software including word processing packages, spreadsheets, databases and some experience with geographic information systems.
