2006 – up to now:
working for Canadian Nexen Petroleum Yemen as Instrument technician within instrument maintenance dept..(via contract).

Activities included:

Assisting on Install, repair, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain all instrument control systems in the plant and field facilities including: Cover control valves, electronic pneumatic transmitters, electronic flow measuring devices, electronic and pneumatic pressure controlling devices, chemical injection facilities from small to medium size pumps, and PLC/data acquisition equipment.
Troubleshoot and repairs other equipment such as office equipment, fire & gas detection systems, etc.
Carry out other similar or related duties and preventative maintenance work as deemed necessary to support the Plant and Field activities.
Power plants- assisting with all instrument calibration activities around four the power plants repairs and major overhauls.
Assisting with preventives maintenance work in both the CPF and field well sites.
Assisting in the workshop with calibration checks on a wide range of instrumentation.
Assisting with the Overhaul, service and repair of deferent types of equipment including chemical pumps, pressure switches, level switches, and electronic transmitters.
Assisting with the overhaul and checks on fisher control valves.

Jan, 2006 – Aug, 2006:

Worked in Computer Maintenance Workshop in Mukalla for 6 months.
