After my local work experience I decided to go and work abroad and to have knowledge about OIL and GAS in industry. This started my employment with RIYADH WATER OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE, Riyadh, K.S.A. as Instrument Technician from 1989 up to 2002.
It follows my employment with ZAMIL OPERATIONS and MAINTENANCE Co., Ltd., Al - Khobar, K.S.A. Hookup Project Offshore Oilfields under the clients of Saudi Aramco, K.S.A. from 2004 up to 2006 as construction crew, “Instrument Technician”. Alternately, if we do not have work in Offshore due to preparations of materials/equipments to be used/installed and waiting for another Project assignment (Offshore Job), we work in Ship Yard/Port Area- by giving a hand and or assisting people in building/constructing on Ship/Boat by cable pulling, installation and wire termination. Prepares and to fabricates supports/stand for Panel Boxes which is under the Electrical Work Shop Facilities Checking/repairing of grinding tools. Assist electrical group by dismantling/cleaning/repairing of motors/generators and prepares/distribute lighting during afternoon especially on areas where people having overtime/ working on night shift duty.
Worked with DAEWOO ENGINEERING and CONSTRUCTIONS Co., Nigeria for the NLNG- Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas Plant Expansion (DN-48/Train Six Project), Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria from 2006 up to 2007 as Instrument Foreman and transferred to QA/QC-E/I department as the project nearly to be finished by doing Motor Solo Run Testing.
Employed with SOGECO S A, Equatorial Guinea, Malabo, West Africa from 2008 – 2009 as Instrument Technician.
Lately hired by SOC- Sirte Oil Company, Tripoli, Libya as Instrument Technician- T/A (Turn Around) in short term basis from 02 July 2009 up to 28 September 2009 and from 02 June 2010 up to 28 August 2010 respectively.
