Project Engineer, 5 October 2009 to till date in John Crane Sealing System India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore.
John Crane is the world leader in sealing technology having Centre of Excellence in India and a part of Smiths Group PLC. Mechanical seals are fitted in rotating equipments like Pumps, Agitators, Compressors etc., and its basic function is to arrest the leakage of the media into the environment. The Company is one of the leading manufacturers of precision sealing systems for pumps. The major customers are Oil & Gas refineries, Petrochemical and Chemical process companies spread across the globe.

Managing Projects in both Pre order and Post order phases for Sealant Systems.
Evaluating of incoming Pump data sheets, Project specifications, drawings and commercial documents to prepare a best technical and commercial proposal for customer.
Preparing related information and documents to support the proposal.
Tendering activities, preparation of Umbrella bids, closed bids.
Supporting projects by coordinating with manufacturing locations, negotiating with sub-vendors for delivery and costs.
Extend support in answering any techno-commercial clarification and attending kick off meeting to provide support to Project Sales during negotiation.
Coordination with engineering, procurement and manufacturing teams after receipt of order.
Review of the drawings as per the agreed scope of supply and to obtain approval of the drawings from the customer.
Handover of the orders to appropriate COE’s and to ensure smooth operations until the product is shipped.

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (2009) from Dr. Ambedkar Institute Of Technology, Bangalore (Visveswaraiah technological university) with more than 77% marks.

Preparation and review of Blue Sheets for strategic selling.
Working Knowledge ASME Sec V, VIII, IX, B31.3 &16.5, API 682 and API 610.
Selections of Centrifugal Pumps and its auxiliaries for oil and gas industry.
Selection of Instruments for Centrifugal Pumps and its auxiliaries.
Working on Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001).
Currently working on Australian Pressure Vessels Standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Auto-Cad, Ansys.
ERP: SAP R/3.
