1. January 2011- May 2011- Thesis at BITS-Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, India
Thesis Title- Environmental Management of Organic Waste
a) Review, quantification and characterization of locally generated organic wastes.
b) Literature review and selection of appropriate environment-friendly and energy-extensive technology for waste management.
c) Study of batch-scale reactors for estimating the energy potential, using thermal and alkaline pre-treatment techniques, by factorial and taguchi design of experiments.
d) Interpretation of results using Minitab to analyze the process parameters and efficiency.

2. July 2010- December 2010 – Hindustan Zinc Limited, Chittaurgarh, Rajasthan, India
Project Title- A Comprehensive Analysis and Validation of Neutral Leaching Thickener Design
a) A comprehensive study of the hydro-metallurgical Roast-Leach-Electrowin process.
b) Analysis of sedimentation data of the operating unit of neutral leaching section to generate the settling curve for validating the design parameters of the thickener using the Kynch theory for sedimentation.

3. May 2008- July 2008 - Indraprastha Power Generation Company Limited (IPGCL), New Delhi, India
Project Title- Study and Validation of the Fluid Flow Mechanism in power plant operations
a) A study of the hydro-dynamics of the thermal plant using available manuals and literature review.
b) Proposed flowchart and calculations to suggest a plausible flow measuring device for the flow of feed water to the high pressure steam turbine.

4. Projects completed at BITS- Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, India

• Project Title- Important Applications of Essential Non-Edible Oils
Study of the major industrial applications of linseed, castor seed, rapeseed and jatropha, including the LCA analysis of rapeseed and jatropha for their application as potential fuel.
