Nagarjuna Oil Corporation Limited (A Nagarjuna Group) is setting up a 6 MMTPA oil refinery in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu.
I had worked in two departments in NOCL:
• Project Department.
• Process Department
In Project Department:
• Preparation of Comparative statements of Pipes, Flanges, Fittings.
• Preparation of Planning Schedule &Monitoring of R0-Ro Ramp Jetty Construction.
• Consistency check PDMS of CDU unit.
• Segregation of Drawing into GAD,PFD,P&ID of woerth refinery database.

SIMULATION:

• Simulation of Crude Distillation unit ,C3/C4 Splitter,FGD scrubber section.
• Sizing and Rating of Heat exchanger.
• Sizing and Rating of Line sizing
• Sizing of pressure vessel.
P&ID REVIEW:
• Review and commented P&ID of following:
1.LPG Merox Unit
2. Jet Fuel Merox unit.
3. Gasoline merox unit.
4. Flue gas Desulphurization unit.
5. Cooling Water system.
6. Compressed Air system.
7. Fire Water system.
8. Nitrogen system.
9. Captive Power & Utility Plant.
DESIGN CALCULATION:
1. RVP Calculation of FCC LPG.
2. Calculation of Nitrogen Balance ,Water Balance .
3. Hold up volume calculation of Fluid Catalytic cracking Unit.
4. Velocity calculation of pipe.
5. Capacity calculation of Amine capacity calculation, SWS capacity calculation.
6. Heat and Mass balance :
a. Fluid Catalytic cracking unit
b. Gasoline Merox unit.
c. Jet Fuel merox unit.
d. LPG Merox unit
e. Flue Gas desulphurization unit.

HAZOP:
• Helped in Hazop close out of following units:
1. Flue gas Desulphurization unit.
2.LPG merox unit
3. Jet Fuel Merox unit.
4. Gasoline Merox unit.
5.Cooling water unit
6.Fire water System
6. Compressed Air system.
Participated in HAZOP MEETING of MEROX UNIT.
Engineering Activity:
• Following Engineering Document Review and Commented : PCFS,Cause and Effect diagram ,Process control operating procedure unit:
1. LPG Merox Unit.
2. Gasoline Merox Unit.
3.Flue Gas desulphurization
4.Jet Fuel Merox unit
• MR Preparation Catalyst of UOP Merox unit.
• Following TBA is reviewed and Commented :
1. Clarrifier of FGD.
2. Belco Scrubber.
3.Flame Arrestor
4.GMU Internals
5. Electrostatic Coalescer Prewash.
SITE ACTIVITY
• Assessment of Equipment (To check life span of equipment).
• Done Reusability Study through which successfully suggested 5 vessel for reuse, through this cost cutting was done
