To work as NDT Level III

• ASNT Level III in Seven Methods with real Hands-on practical experience of 43 years. Last 30 years as NDT Level III in fabrication, petrochemical, oil & gas and drilling equipment inspection industries to train NDT personnel and establish NDT procedures and evaluate results.

• Proficiency in UT with manual as well as AUT achieved to the extent that prediction of RT indications for steel thickness right up to 300mm or more could be made to get RT cleared on first exposure to avoid expensive delays.

• Fabrication, welding/brazing, in-service and post-service inspection experience at Heavy Engineering Workshops of Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Bombay, India; petrochemical, fabrication, oil and gas industries in the Middle-East and drilling equipment industries in the Far-East.

• Participated in many Turn Arounds (Shut-downs) to evaluate condition of equipment and life estimation.

• NDT experience on materials like steels (MS, CS, LA, HA, Duplex), Aluminium,Titanium, Nickel, Copper, Inconel, Monel, Bronze, White Metal, Lead, Tungsten, Silver (switch-contacts), in ASME Stamps and ISO 9001 accredited companies.

• Knowledge of and ability to verify the accuracy of latest NDT techniques like ToFD, Phased Arrays, Guided Waves UT, Process Vision, Filmless RT, IRIS, RFET, ECT, MFL, Thermography, Immersion UT.

• Ability to develop new NDT procedures for complex problems where no procedures or technical supports are available.

• Conversant with ASME, BS, AD Merkblatt, AWS, API, ANSI, ASNT Codes and Standards.
